Renter’s Canvas (“the Site”) is a personal blog run by Hannah Davis. I take your privacy seriously — the same way I take my security deposit seriously. This policy explains what info I collect, why, and what I do (and don’t do) with it.
Information I collect
Comments: When you leave a comment, I collect the name and email address you provide. Your email is never shown publicly.
Email subscriptions: If you sign up for the newsletter, I collect your email address to send you updates. Every email includes an unsubscribe link.
Analytics: I use a standard analytics tool (like Google Analytics) that collects anonymous data — pages visited, time on site, broad location. No personally identifiable stuff. This helps me figure out which posts are useful and which ones flopped.
Cookies: The Site may use cookies to remember preferences or for analytics. You can disable cookies in your browser anytime.
What I do NOT do
Sell, rent, or trade your personal information. Ever.
Share your email with anyone, unless required by law.
Collect sensitive data without your knowledge.
Third‑party services
I may use trusted third‑party tools (email platform, analytics) that have their own privacy policies. I’m not responsible for their practices, but I only pick services that align with my no‑nonsense attitude.
Your rights
You can ask me to delete your data (comments, subscription) anytime — just email [[email protected]]. I’ll handle it faster than you can say “security deposit return.”
Contact
If you have questions about this policy, email me at [email protected]. I read every message, even if Kevin the pothos does most of the judging.
