All written content, photos, and graphics are mine (Hannah Davis) unless credited otherwise. You’re welcome to share a single image or excerpt with a clear link back to the original post. Republishing full posts without permission is not cool. And definitely don’t claim my thrift flips as your own.
Advice is for inspiration, not a guarantee
Everything I publish is based on my real rental experience. But I can’t predict your walls, your landlord, your paint adhesion, or how humid your bathroom gets. I provide exact product names and honest results — but you are responsible for your own DIY decisions. Read your lease. Test a small patch. If you put a hole in the wall and lose part of your deposit, that’s on you (I’ve been there). Consider every tutorial a friendly suggestion, not professional advice.

Renter’s Canvas and Hannah Davis are not liable for any damage, lost deposits, or other mishaps resulting from the use of information on this Site. By trying a project, you accept the risk. That said, I work hard to keep things deposit‑safe, and I’ll always warn you when something is risky.

I may update these terms now and then. The date at the top will reflect the latest version. Keep renting, keep decorating, and assume the newest rule still rhymes with “no permanent damage.”
